WHAT WE OFFER AS SCOTLAND ELOPEMENT

VIDEOGRAPHY

For couples who are doing things their own way.

This collection is for those travelling to Scotland not just to get married, but to create something meaningful. You’ve chosen this place — the coastlines, the lochs, the weather that does what it wants — because it calls to you. Whether it’s your first time here or a long-held dream, we’re here to help you hold onto it.

We’ve filmed elopements across the Highlands and Islands, in remote ruins, mountain passes, tucked-away forests, and quiet corners of the city. Some involve a hike. Others happen at a slower pace, in a cottage or by the water. What connects them isn’t the scale — it’s the feeling.

You don’t need to be comfortable in front of the camera. Most of our couples say they’re not — and honestly, that’s never been a problem. Our approach is calm, intuitive, and fun when it needs to be. We’ll guide when it helps, step back when it doesn’t, and keep the focus on how the day actually felt.

This isn’t about showing off. It’s about being present, staying grounded, and documenting something real. A visual legacy you’ll come back to again and again — not just for how it looked, but for everything it held.

This is for the enamoured and the adventurous. For those making something truly their own.

TODAY’S RAIN IS TOMORROW’S WHISKEY

Whiskey Barrel Keepsake Box?

Every couple who books with us receives a handcrafted keepsake box made from reclaimed Scotch whiskey barrels. Created in collaboration with Oak & Black, a small workshop based just outside Edinburgh, each box reflects years of thought, refinement, and care.

The box is hand-delivered on the day of your wedding. Inside, you’ll find a bottle of Glengoyne 12-Year-Old Highland Single Malt — a smooth, approachable whisky with notes of vanilla and apple. The USB containing your wedding film and photos arrives later, once your story has been carefully edited and crafted.

This isn’t just something to put on a shelf. It’s designed to become part of your tradition. A place to revisit your memories, whether that’s on your first anniversary or your fiftieth. Pour a dram, press play, and remember — today’s rain is tomorrow’s whisky.

HOW TO BOOK

  • Most of our couples book 8 to 18 months ahead, especially if they're planning to elope during peak months like May through October. That said, we’ve also filmed elopements pulled together in just a few weeks. So whether you're early in the process or thinking “is this too last-minute?”, it’s always worth getting in touch.

  • Yes. We're based in Scotland and have filmed elopements everywhere from Glencoe to Skye to the backstreets of Edinburgh. We can suggest ceremony spots, help time your vows for the best light, or recommend how to structure the day so it feels natural and unrushed.

  • Not even slightly. Most of our couples tell us they’re awkward in front of a camera, and honestly, that’s where we do our best work. Think of us as a couple of friends you’re hanging out with.
There’s a little direction when it helps, but it’s never forced. Think gentle guidance, fun energy, and space to enjoy yourselves, no stiff posing or awkward silences.

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all here. Some couples spend the morning in a cosy cabin, read vows in the hills, and head back for a private dinner. Others bring a handful of guests and make a day of it. We usually start with prep, explore a bit together, film your ceremony, and catch golden hour if it’s playing nice. We’ll help shape the flow to suit your style — whether that’s quiet and reflective or a bit of a wild celebration.

  • Yes. Sound is a huge part of how we tell stories, and we’ve invested years into getting it right, even in windy Scottish glens. We’ll discreetly mic you up, monitor levels throughout the day, and record ambient sound to bring everything to life. From vows to sea breezes, your film will sound as good as it looks.

  • You’ll receive your content in stages.

Content from the day filmed specifically for social media — like short clips or iPhone footage — is usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Perfect for sharing a little something while everything’s still fresh.

Your full film takes a bit more time. Typically, it’s delivered around three to four months after your wedding, depending on the season and our editing queue. We’ll keep you updated throughout, so you’ll never be left wondering where things are.

  • Not unless that’s what you want. Our tagline is “for the enamoured and the adventurous”, but adventurous can just mean doing things your way. Some of our favourite elopements have taken place 20 steps from a car park. This is about meaningful moments, not proving anything.

  • Absolutely. We’ve been doing this since 2011 and have a trusted network of celebrants, florists, planners, and even places to stay. If you’re not sure where to begin, we’re happy to make intros or point you toward folk we love working with. While we’re not planners, we’re definitely here to make things easier.

  • Definitely. An elopement doesn’t have to mean “just the two of you.” If there are a few people you want by your side, bring them. We’ve filmed intimate elopements with kids, dogs, and chosen family — all adding to the atmosphere and connection of the day.

  • Yes. We shape every film around the couple we’re working with. If you’re quiet, your film will reflect that softness. If you’re a chaotic romantic, that energy will shine through. We don’t force anything, we just help you feel present and then shape the edit to honour what happened.

  • We’ve said it before, but today’s rain is tomorrow’s whisky. The Scottish weather has a mind of its own, but we’re prepared for it with waterproof gear, flexible timelines, and a good sense of humor. We’ll make it work. And honestly? Some of our favorite films were shot in the rain.

  • Oh yes. If the weather’s playing ball and it’s safe and legal to fly, we’ll absolutely get those sweeping drone shots. Think mist rolling over the mountains, lochs catching the light, and coastlines stretching into the distance, the kind of visuals that remind you exactly why you chose to elope here. These moments help set the tone and give your film a real sense of place. It’s not just about making it look “epic”; it’s about showing Scotland the way it felt to be there.
