WHAT WE OFFER AS SCOTLAND WEDDING

VIDEOGRAPHY

An all-inclusive wedding videography experience

We’re based in Scotland but work with couples from all over the world. And we get it, planning a wedding from afar can feel overwhelming. While we’re not planners, we’re locals. That means we’re always happy to offer advice, local insight, and a few trusted suggestions to make your life easier. We know the roads, the light, the customs, and the rain (which, by the way, we like to call tomorrow’s whiskey).

Scottish weddings don’t all look the same, and neither do our films.

This collection is for couples wild at heart, who want more than just a record of the day. Whether you’re planning a multi-day celebration in a Scottish estate, a heartfelt ceremony in a family garden, or a modern gathering in the city, we’re here to create something that feels like you.

You’ll be working with us, Simon and Gregg, from start to finish, and although we’re there to create a incredible wedding film, we’re not just there to press the record button. We’re there to guide, support, laugh with your guests, and blend right in with the rhythm of the day. Need help pinning a buttonhole? Confused about how to wear a kilt? We’ve been through it all and are always ready to lend a hand — Simon even wears his black kilt to every wedding.

“ Gentleman, you are true masters of your craft. Loraine and I have just finished watching our full Multiversal Matters edit and it's truly a work of art. Having been a designer and art director for over 25 years I'm extremely picky and hard to please creativity. You both met AND truly surpassed any and all expectations. I'm blown away at how beautiful the film looks, sounds AND feels. Loraine and l will treasure this for a lifetime. Thank you both. Now. I'm off to watch it again!”

We’ll capture extra moments throughout the day with content creation in mind using an iPhone 16 Pro, behind-the-scenes clips, phone-friendly scenes, and footage perfect for reels or TikTok.

You’ll receive a folder of vertical clips for easy posting to socials roughly 24/48 hours after your event!

Our Approach

Our approach is experience-first. Because when the day flows naturally and people feel comfortable, the film reflects that. We don’t arrive with bulky gear or take over the space. We shoot handheld for most of the day, which keeps us nimble, relaxed, and discreet. You’ll barely notice us, but we’ll be everywhere we need to be.

If you’re worried about having too many creatives around, know this—we’ve been working alongside photographers for 15 years and have filmed with some of the best in Scotland and beyond. We even host a podcast, Perspective by Cinemate, where we share insights with photographers to help grow their businesses. Our presence tends to bring out the best in your photographer. We collaborate, not compete.

One time, we set up a smoke grenade shot through the tree canopy in Skye. The photo captured by the photographer we were working with went on to win an award. That’s the kind of creative support we’re proud to offer.

Every film we create is shaped by the couple at the centre of it. If you’re a musician, we’ll find ways to include that. If you’re into lightsabers, Simon will happily choreograph a duel—he owns his own and knows the Obi-Ani. These touches make your film yours.

We’re not just documenting the day. We’re building a visual legacy.

They managed to capture the essence of the day in such a way that brought back all of the emotions and will do so every time we watch it. TODAY’S RAIN IS TOMORROW’S WHISKEY

Whiskey Barrel Keepsake Box?

Every couple who books with us receives a handcrafted keepsake box made from reclaimed Scotch whiskey barrels. Created in collaboration with Oak & Black, a small workshop based just outside Edinburgh, each box reflects years of thought, refinement, and care.

The box is hand-delivered on the day of your wedding. Inside, you’ll find a bottle of Glengoyne 12-Year-Old Highland Single Malt — a smooth, approachable whisky with notes of vanilla and apple. The USB containing your wedding film and photos arrives later, once your story has been carefully edited and crafted.

This isn’t just something to put on a shelf. It’s designed to become part of your tradition. A place to revisit your memories, whether that’s on your first anniversary or your fiftieth. Pour a dram, press play, and remember — today’s rain is tomorrow’s whisky.

LET’S PARTY

Big weddings, micro weddings, and everything in between all have one thing in common—the chance to celebrate. And the party is where the energy shifts. It’s where nerves fall away and joy takes over.

Maybe it’s the moment your best friend takes the mic for an unexpected speech. Maybe it’s your gran pulling off dance moves you didn’t know she had. Or the wild joy of a ceilidh in full swing, with guests from around the world laughing their way through the steps. For many of our couples coming to Scotland, it’s their first ceilidh—and it’s a shared moment we love being part of.

We’ve filmed grooms performing with their bands, choreographed dances that started as a surprise and ended with a standing ovation, and spontaneous singalongs that made the dance floor feel like a gig. There have been fireworks bursting over lochside estates, quiet tears during a parent dance, and the full, euphoric chaos of a packed ceilidh hall.

We’ve also captured some of the biggest wedding bands, DJs, and roaming sax players in the UK. The dynamic energy of a proper party is something we thrive on—and we know exactly how to keep up without getting in the way.

As for how long we stay—that part’s easy. We’re there until we’ve got what we need to tell the story right. We never leave just after the first dance. In fact, we always stay for a minimum of three songs. And if we’re staying at the venue overnight, we’ve been known to stay even later to capture fireworks or one last moment on the dance floor. The goal isn’t just to show the party—it’s to bottle what it felt like to be in the thick of it, surrounded by everyone you love.

“OMG, the videos you have sent us are the best damn thing we've ever seen, our friends and family are going nuts over them and we have NOT been able to watch them once without crying!

LAWD! You two have given us our favourite thing”

  • Not anymore. While we’ve captured weddings in Austin, Texas, the hills of Tuscany, and the fjords of Norway, our focus now is Scotland. We believe this country offers something uniquely meaningful—something that connects with people on a deep level. Whether it’s the ancestral pull, the dramatic landscapes, or the atmosphere you just can’t bottle anywhere else, this is where our hearts are. We’re here to help couples who feel the same.

  • Absolutely. From kilts to handfasting to ceilidhs, we’re here to guide you through it. Simon wears his black kilt to every wedding and is always on hand for tips and tweaks.

  • Yes. We love collaborating with other creatives and have years of experience working alongside photographers. We fit in seamlessly and know how to stay out of each other’s way while elevating your overall experience.

  • Typically 3–4 months depending on season and edit queue. But trust us—it’s worth the wait. We’ll also deliver teaser content to keep you excited.

  • Relaxed, friendly, and focused on storytelling. We don’t set up lots of posed shots or run your day like a movie set. We move quietly and capture what’s real.

  • Every film has a bespoke soundtrack selected to reflect your taste and the tone of the day. We’ll chat with you beforehand to get a sense of your vibe—genres, moods, favourite instruments. If you’re a musician or want to include a personal performance or licensed track, we’ll happily make space for that too.

  • Yes. We always record them in full, capturing all speakers with professional sound. These are available as optional extras to include in your final film package.

  • Not at all. Most of our couples say the same thing. Our goal is to help you feel like yourselves, and we’re there to gently guide rather than direct.

  • Yes—we’re happy to share suggestions for venues, suppliers, and scenic spots. We’ve been filming weddings in Scotland for over a decade and have plenty of insight to offer.

  • Of course. We love connecting before the day. Whether it’s a Zoom call or a coffee if you’re nearby, let’s chat and see if we’re the right fit.

  • Oh yes! What else do you think I’m doing with my lightsabers when your films are exporting
