The Wonder Of You

Why do you want to capture your wedding on video?Because we'll only do it once! And it's probably the only time in our lives we'll have all of our friends and family together in one day! And the venue is beautiful.Tell us about the proposal:Niall proposed in our flat on the 4th December 2016. It was a sunny, cold day and we'd been in Edinburgh with friends for the weekend. We got up early for a Sunday and went for a walk through the Botanics, then we came back and Niall cooked brunch. He told me he had a surprise Xmas decoration for me (which I thought was a bit random!) so he went to get it from the bedroom and told me to close my eyes. He was faffing about for 5 minutes so I told him to hurry up! When I said I could open them he told me there was also a small gift that went with the decoration; he then got down on one knee and brought out the ring and told me to look behind me. He had set up a light box that read, Be my wife?? So I laughed, then cried and then said yes!The venue(s), why this place above anywhere else?The Byre at Inchyra was the the only place we wanted and the only place we looked at. We didn't want a hotel or anything as grand as a castle. I wanted to get married in the countryside and we loved the relaxed, rustic vibe - it felt very 'us'.
